Glycine is a bulking agent that can help promote protein stability.
To prepare L of Glycine (0.1 M, pH 2.2):

- Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
- Add 7.5 g of Glycine (Sigma G7126) to the solution.
- Adjust the pH to 2.2 with HCl.
- Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
- Autoclave.
