ADA Buffer (0.5 M, 6.6 pH) Preparation and Recipe
ADA buffer is one of the Good's buffer with a pH range of 6.0-7.2. It is often used in cell culture media as a chelating agent for H+, Ca2+, and Mg2+.
To prepare L of ADA Buffer (0.5 M, 6.6 pH):

ADA (mw: 190.15 g/mol) | 95.11 g | 0.5 M |
- Prepare 800 mL of dH2O in a suitable container.
- Add 95.11 g of ADA to the solution.
- Add dH2O until the volume is 1 L.
- ADA will not fully dissolve until the pH is raised. Adjust solution to desired pH by 10N NaOH.
