EGTA (mw: 380.35 g/mol) | 7.6 g | 0.02 M |
- Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
- Add 40.9 g of Sodium chloride to the solution.
- Add 6.1 g of Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate to the solution.
- Add 7.39 g of Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate to the solution.
- Add 1.49 g of Potassium Chloride to the solution.
- Add 7.6 g of EGTA to the solution.
- Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
- Adjust pH to 5.5 using HCl. Autoclave or filter through a 0.2-µm membrane. Store at 4°C.
