Carbenicillin Solution Preparation and Recipe
Carbenicillin is a bactericidal antibiotic that has beta-lactamase resistant activity.

disodium carbenicillin (mw: 422.36 g/mol) | 50 g | 0.1183 M |
- Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
- Add 50 g of disodium carbenicillin to the solution.
- Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
- Filter-sterilize using a 0.22-µm filter. Store in 1-mL aliquots at ~20°C.
