Product description
XFD488 contains the same fluorophore of Alexa Fluor® 488. It is a bright, green-fluorescent dye with excitation ideally suited for the 488 nm laser line. It is used for stable signal generation in imaging and flow cytometry. AF488 TCO demonstrates exceptionally fast reaction with tetrazines, the fastest kinetics ever reported for any biorthogonal reaction. It provides a convenient tool for making biological conjugates with tetrazine-modified substrates. The resulted conjugates provide the bright, green fluorescence of Alexa Fluor® 488 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher Scientific).
