XFD647 amine is the same molecule to the Alexa Fluor® 647 amine (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is a cyanine dye with bright red-fluorescence optimal for labeling antibodies. It has the identical spectra to Cy5 dye. XFD647 dye is water soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to 10. The amine of XFD647 is a versatile carbonyl-reactive form for conjugating this fluorophore to peptides and other biological molecules.
