Where are Treg cells produced?

Answer
Treg cells or regulatory T cells are produced primarily in the thymus. These are known as tTregs, thymus-derived Treg cells, or natural Tregs. Treg cells can also be differentiated in the periphery (outside the thymus). These are known as peripherally-induced Tregs or adaptive Tregs.
