What cells express CD3?

Answer
CD3 is initially expressed in the cytoplasm of pro-thymocytes. These stem cells are the progenitors of T-cells in the thymus. The CD3 antigen begins to migrate to the cell membrane at a later stage after the pro-thymocytes have differentiated into common thymocytes and then into medullary thymocytes.
