Posted June 17, 2024

Answer

Both cytoplasm and cytosol are located within the boundaries of the cell membrane (plasma membrane) and surround the nucleus in eukaryotic cells.  Both cytoplasm and cytosol play crucial roles in supporting cellular activities by providing a medium for reactions to occur. The cytoplasm and cytosol are also composed primarily of water, along with various other molecules.
