How is PCR-Elisa different from a regular Elisa?

Answer
PCR-ELISA combines PCR with ELISA techniques to amplify and then detect specific nucleic acid sequences. In contrast, a regular ELISA does not involve the use of PCR. Additionally, the targets for PCR-ELISA are DNA or RNA sequences. In contrast, a regular ELISA assay targets proteins, peptides or antibodies.
