How do I lower my background signal in my immunoprecipitation assay?

Posted July 16, 2024

Answer

A high background may be caused due several different reasons and is one of the most common problems encountered during immunoprecipitation assays. This high background makes it difficult for researchers to differentiate between relevant and irrelevant data. One way to lower the background signal is by cross-linking your IP antibodies to your protein A/G microbeads.
