The 323/A3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD326, a 40 kD glycoprotein commonly located on the surface of lungs and colons. In certain organisms, CD326 upregulates cell population proliferation, represses cell-cell adhesion mediated by cadherin and is an enhancer of transcription by RNA polymerase II. From a research standpoint, it is of biological interest due to its association with critical macromolecules/ligands. CD326 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 1500 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD326 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, especially in the study of cell biology and immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PacOrange (ex/em = 400/551 nm). It is compatible with the 405 nm laser and 525/50 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Thermo Fisher Attune NxT).
