What type of liquids form an ideal solution?

Posted May 29, 2024

Answer

Liquids which possess similar structures and polarities form ideal solutions. These liquids also exhibit comparable intermolecular forces and their interactions between one another remain consistent across the solution. Some common examples of these types of liquids forming an ideal solution include toluene and benzene and ethyl iodide and ethyl bromide.
