Answer
Enzymes are composed of thousands of amino acids that are linked together in a specific way to form a variety of enzymes. In linear enzymes, the amino acids occur as a straight chain. In globular enzymes, the amino acids form a three-dimensional, globular structure. The amino acid sequence determines the function of an enzyme, which in turn determines its catalytic activity or function.
