Tide Quencher 2 (TQ2) and Tide Quencher 2WS (TQ2WS) are proprietary quenchers designed to have much stronger absorption, much higher quenching efficiency, and versatile reactive forms. Compared with TQ2, TQ2WS products are more water soluble and they are extremely useful for enhancing the water solubility of hydrophobic peptides.
