What is acceptor photobleaching?

Posted May 15, 2024

Answer

Acceptor photobleaching is a technique used in FRET experiments to confirm the occurrence of energy transfer between a donor and acceptor fluorophore pair. The rise in donor fluorescence following complete acceptor photobleaching serves as an indicator of the extent of FRET.
