Posted May 24, 2024

Answer

Bases are chemical compounds that contain hydroxide (OH-) ions, and have a pH value greater than or equal to 7. They can accept protons, donate electrons to form a bond. They can also release OH- ions in aqueous solution. Bases react chemically with acids and neutralize them.
