What are the uses of absorption spectroscopy?

Posted July 25, 2024

Answer

Absorption spectroscopy is widely used to determine the atomic and molecular structure of substances, detect the presence of a substance of interest in a sample and quantify the substance of interest in the sample.

Researchers also use absorption spectroscopy to determine the concentration of toxic substances via remote sensing.
