What are the similarities between nanoparticles and liposomes?

Answer
Both liposomes and lipid nanoparticles are lipid-based formulations. They use lipid structures to encapsulate and protect their active compounds. They are also both used for targeted delivery of therapeutic agents that are poorly water-soluble or challenging to formulate. Lipid nanoparticles and liposomes are also considered nanoscale formulations.
