Answer
In this type of solution, the properties of the solvent are solely determined by the concentration of solute particles and the molecules of different substances mix perfectly. The volume of the solution remains the same as the sum of the volumes of the individual components. An ideal solution can be achieved by combining a solute and a solvent with comparable molecular structures and sizes. Additionally, Raoult's law, which states that the vapor pressure of a component in an ideal solution is directly proportional to its mole fraction in the solution and its vapor pressure in its pure state, holds true for ideal solutions.
