What are the locations of muscular tissues?

Posted June 25, 2024

Answer

Skeletal muscles are distributed throughout the body, connecting to bones via tendons. Additionally, they are located in critical structures such as the diaphragm, tongue, upper esophagus, eye socket, and facilitate various functions such as speech, breathing, eye movement, and swallowing.

Smooth muscle is found in internal organs like the digestive tract, blood vessels, and uterus.

Cardiac muscle is unique to the heart.
