Mineral acids are acids that are produced from inorganic compounds that do not contain carbon. They are essentially inorganic substances that have acidic characteristics. Mineral acids have a low pH value, are highly acidic and extremely corrosive. They are highly soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents.
