Posted June 17, 2024

Answer

Bone cells are the cellular components of bone tissue. They contribute to the dynamic and living nature of bones and play a critical role in maintaining bone tissue. Bone cells are found throughout the skeletal system.

There are four main types of bone cells – osteoblasts, osteocytes, and osteoclasts.  Each type is found in a different location in bones and each serves a unique function.
