How do I make unsaturated solutions?

Posted May 29, 2024

Answer

One should first add a solute to a solvent, which will dissolve until reaching a point where the concentration of the solute is below the saturation point of the solvent. At this stage, the solution is termed unsaturated, indicating that the solute concentration is notably lower than the equilibrium point. Each solute has its unique limit regarding its solvent, with the saturation point marking the equilibrium between the solvent and solute.
