How do I calculate the molar concentration of the solution?

Posted November 30, 2020

Answer

The molar concentration, also known as molarity, is the amount of moles of a solute per liter of solution. It can be calculated using the following formula:

  • C = molar concentration in mol/L or M
  • m = mass of solute in grams (g)
  • V = volume of solution in liters (L)
  • MW = molecular weight of solute in g/mol
