At what temperature does RNA denature?

Answer
RNA denaturation happens at 65-70°C when heated for 15 minutes. At high temperature, RNA denaturation happens in <15 minutes. It is always advised to store RNA at -80°C (up to 1 year) and for long duration, RNA samples may also be stored at -20°C as ethanol precipitates.
