XFD594 Anti-human CD140a Antibody *16A1, XFD594 Same Structure to Alexa Fluor™ 594*
16A1 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD140a antigen. CD140a (sometimes called PDGFRa) is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor family that is expressed on the surface of cells such as endothelial cells and platelets. CD140a is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, PDGF. CD140a is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD140a is commonly used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, specifically in the study of neuroscience, stem cells and immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to XFD594 (ex/em = 590/618 nm). XFD594 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 594 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is compatible with the 592 nm laser and 610/30 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Amnis ImageStream).
