Purified Mouse Anti-human PRKAR2A Antibody *Hs-36, monoclonal*
cAMP-dependent protein kinase type II-α regulatory subunit is a 46 kDa protein that can be located in the nucleotide-activated protein kinase complex, cytosol and centrosome of cells. In humans, cAMP-dependent protein kinase type II-α regulatory subunit is an inhibitor of cAMP-dependent protein kinase activity. cAMP-dependent protein kinase type II-α regulatory subunit has been closely linked to critical functions such as cAMP-dependent protein kinase regulator and cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor activity. It reacts with protein kinase A catalytic subunit, cAMP 1 and cAMP. cAMP-dependent protein kinase type II-α regulatory subunit is essential to protein kinase A signaling and cAMP-mediated signaling. It aids in organismal processes, for instance, renal water homeostasis, intracellular signal transduction and activation of protein kinase A activity.
