Purified Mouse Anti-human/mouse/rabbit MHC Class I (α+β2m chains) Antibody *IVA26, monoclonal*
Major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein is a transmembrane protein with a molecular weight of 45 kDa, found in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, late endosome membrane and endoplasmic reticulum of cells. In humans, major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein has been closely linked to important functions like MHC class I receptor activity. It binds with β-2-microglobulin and T cell receptor. Sequencing of major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein has exemplified it contains 3 conserved structural units: extracellular, cytoplasmic and Ig-like C1-type domain. It acts to positively regulate T cell mediated cytotoxicity directed against tumor cell target. It aids in organismal processes, for instance, immune response, T cell differentiation in thymus and cytokine production involved in immune response.
