Purified Mouse Anti-human IgA Secretory Component Antibody *SC-05, monoclonal*
Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor is a transmembrane protein with a molecular weight of 97 kDa, located in the receptor complex, integral component of plasma membrane and extracellular space of cells. Sequencing of polymeric immunoglobulin receptor has supported it contains 7 conserved structural units: extracellular, cytoplasmic, Ig-like V-type 1, Ig-like V-type 2, Ig-like V-type 3, Ig-like V-type 4 and Ig-like V-type 5 domain. It takes part in processes such as organismal processes, in particular, receptor clustering, retina homeostasis and neutrophil degranulation. Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor has been thought to be involved with important functions like polymeric immunoglobulin receptor activity, and in addition, is the subject of intensive study due to the fact that it is a member of the Fc receptor signaling pathway and epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway.
