Purified Azide Free Rat Anti-mouse MHC Class II Antibody *M5/114, monoclonal*
HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP α 1 chain is a 34 kDa transmembrane protein that can be found in the integral component of plasma membrane, transport vesicle membrane and ER to Golgi transport vesicle membrane of cells. It is sometimes called MHC class II DP3-α, MHC class II DPA1 and DP(W3). In Homo sapiens, HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP α 1 chain has been thought to be involved with vital functions like MHC class II receptor activity. It is an integral part of organismal processes, namely, adaptive immune response, immune response and cellular response to interferon-γ. HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP α 1 chain is the subject of extensive application because of the fact that it acts in the T cell receptor signaling pathway and interferon-γ-mediated signaling pathway. It enhances T cell proliferation, interferon-γ production and T cell activation, and moreover, binds to peptide antigen. Sequencing of HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DP α 1 chain has supported it contains 3 conserved structural units: extracellular, cytoplasmic and Ig-like C1-type domain.
