Purified Anti-human CD127 Antibody *A019D5*
A019D5 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD127 antigen. CD127 (sometimes called IL7R or IL-7Rα) is a 60 - 90 kD single-pass type i membrane protein that is located on the surface of cells such as stem cells and T cells. In some organisms, CD127 is an inhibitor of T cell mediated cytotoxicity, acts to positively regulate cell population proliferation and is an enhancer of gene expression. Also, it is involved with important cellular pathways, for instance, the cell surface receptor signaling pathway, interleukin-7-mediated signaling pathway and positive regulation of receptor signaling pathway via STAT. From a research standpoint, it is of biological interest due to its association with essential macromolecules/ligands such as IL-7, PI3-kinase and CD132. CD127 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 7000 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD127 is commonly used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, especially in the study of immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography.
