How to use this tool
Click the "Upload Image" button and select a file from your computer or smartphone.Valid photo/image formats include: jpg/jpeg, png, gif, bmp and tiff.
Please note that, in order to ensure consistent performance for all users, image file sizes should be under 5MB and dimensions over 1000 x 1000 pixels will automatically be resized.
Wait for image to process. The progress bar at the bottom of the tool will indicate when image processing is complete.
Additional operationsTo add a band label to the image
Click and drag over the uploaded image to create a label. The label's position can be adjusted after creation by dragging the interior of the label. Note that the label cannot escape the bounds of the image's width or height. By hovering over an existing label, a menu will show indicating the color of the label shape, as well as an input to specify the weight (or any other note) for the label. By clicking on the color box, you can change the color of the label. Note that if the "Uniform label color" option is selected at the right of the tool, changing the color of one label will change the color for all labels.
To add text
Performing a single click anywhere on the image (outside of an existing label or text) will create an empty text box. This can be moved around the image by dragging it. When hovering over the text box, a menu will show indicating the font color and font weight (in pixels) of the text, both of which may be adjusted.
Annotation Options
Show weights in label: If selected, the weight input box of a label will show its value inside the label rectangle's bounds.
Uniform label color: If selected, changing the color of any label or text, or the Default label color will change the color correspondingly for all existing labels and text boxes.
Default label color: Sets the color for new labels and text boxes.
