Answer
If the endocrine system didn’t exist, we would not be able to survive. The endocrine system is made up of various glands that produce hormones, which regulate almost all functions in the body including growth and development, metabolism, and tissue function. Without instructions (signals) from the endocrine system, cells wouldn’t know how to respond to certain stimuli, control blood sugar levels, or regulate salt-water ratios in the body, resulting in death.
