Answer
Non-adherent cells from culture, bacteria, yeast, and waterborne microorganisms are types of biological samples that are best suited for flow cytometric analysis. This is because flow cytometry depends on cells being in suspension in order to be able to flow past the illumination source. However, flow cytometry can also be used to analyze adherent cells and tissue samples as single-cell suspensions after dissociation.
