Answer
Mitochondria and Chloroplasts are the two organelles that have their own DNA and ribosomes. Mitochondria, also known as the powerhouse of the cell, play an integral role in cellular respiration. Chloroplasts are only found in plant cells, where they play a key role in photosynthesis. Mitochondria and chloroplasts are both double-membraned organelles. They are also both semi-autonomous organelles as the presence of their own DNA and ribosomes allows them to self-replicate and also translate proteins.
