Answer
Neural stem cells are largely undifferentiated, multipotent stem cells that originate in the central nervous system. Their significance lies in their potential to give rise to offspring cells during development. These offspring cells grow and differentiate into various cells of the nervous system, including functional cells known as neurons, which are responsible for conducting electrical signals and non-neuronal cells known as glial cells, which insulate neurons and help neurons send signals faster.
