What is CITE-Seq?

Posted August 30, 2024

Answer

CITE-Seq stands for cellular indexing of transcriptomes and epitopes. This is a sequencing-based technique in which cell surface protein and transcriptomic data can be quantified concurrently within a single cell readout. Analyzing cells simultaneously at proteomic and transcriptomic levels offers researchers deeper insights into new types of cells, disease states, or other conditions.
