What are the subclasses of immunoglobulin G (IgG)?

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is divided into four subclasses - IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4. They are differentiated based on molecular weight, size of the hinge region, antigenic differences in structure of the heavy chain, and position of interchain disulfide bonds.
