Posted November 15, 2022

Answer

Luciferase and GFP (Green Fluorescence Protein) are two proteins found in animals that have the ability to produce bioluminescence. Both are made up of amino acids and can be used as reporter molecules in biological research. Molecular oxygen is a mandatory component in bioluminescence.
