What are the advantages of factional distillation over simple distillation?

The most notable advantage of fractional distillation over simple distillation is that fractional distillation can be used to separate two miscible liquids that have a small difference (less than 25°C). On the other hand, simple distillation can only be used if the difference in the boiling points of the liquids in the mixture is over 25°
Another advantage of fractional distillation is that it uses a fractionating column with glass beads, which provides more possibilities for condensation of the liquid and enhances the separation process. This is absent in simple distillation.
Additionally, fractional distillation includes two or more cycles, improving the purity of the distillate with every cycle whereas simple distillation includes only one vaporization-condensation cycle.
