Posted April 17, 2024

Answer

CD4 T cells, also known as “helper T cells”, are glycoproteins that are found on the surface of immune cells such as T helper cells, macrophages, monocytes, and dendritic cells. Like many other cell surface receptors, CD4 T cells are a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. They play a pivotal role in immune protection.
