Answer
Recombinant antibodies are produced in vitro using synthetic antibody genes. The first step to making recombinant antibodies is to gather antibody genes from source cells. Then the genes must be amplified and cloned into a phage vector. The vector then becomes exposed to the host and a large quantity of recombinant antibodies are produced.
