What kind of solvents are used for dissolving indocyanine green (ICG)?

Indocyanine green is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, DMSO, and dimethyl formamide (DMF), which should be purged with an inert gas. The solubility of indocyanine green in ethanol is approximately 1 mg/ml and approximatley 10 mg/ml in DMSO and DMF.
