Applications: | Triton® X-100 is a very common non ionic detergent that is used to solubilize membrane proteins during the isolation of membrane protein complexes. It has low amounts of aldehyde and peroxide concentrations, which reduce the effects of peroxidase and carbonyl compounds. These compounds negatively interact with membrane proteins. |
