Significant Update to Our Spectrum Viewer

Spectrum Viewer
Our Spectrum Viewer is a tool that allows scientists to easily compare spectral data from our extensive catalog of fluorophores. They can then make informed decisions about which products suit their experimental goals and equipment (ie. lasers and filter sets). Since the Spectrum Viewer launch last summer, we have continually improved on its functionality. The major changes to our Spectrum Viewer include:
  • An added "Share" function to link graph snapshots to other users. Graphs can also be exported as a .png using the export function.
  • Updated spectral database to include more compounds, including compounds from other companies.
  • Advanced filtering capabilities to search for compounds by name, excitation/emission ranges and Stokes shift.

Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Poster Now Available Online

ROS poster card
Detection of ROS in Live Cell Mitochondria poster shown at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society.
We unveiled our poster, Detection of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in Live Cell Mitochondria, at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society in February 2017. The ROS poster showcased our newly developed mitochondrion-targeted ROS probes, which can be used for monitoring the ROS levels in living cells in real time by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In response to the overwhelming inquiries about the poster, we have made it available online here.

Together with the ROS poster, we provide comprehensive application notes covering a broad range of our products and services. Please feel free to explore our constantly updated resources page!

The Upcoming 69th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting

Upcoming 69th AACC Annual Scientific Meeting
AACC is a global scientific and medical professional organization dedicated to clinical laboratory science and its application to healthcare. Each year AACC hosts one of the largest, most educational annual meetings in the field of laboratory medicine. This year's meeting will be held in San Diego, California from July 30 to August 3. AAT Bioquest will be there to advocate for some of our newest products with a strong focus on secondary detection and ELISA assays. We look forward to meeting with researchers in the field.

While we will have a booth set up for answering specific and technical questions about our products, feel free to just drop by and say hello. It would be our pleasure to meet you. We are always excited to catch up with friends, old and new. See you in San Diego!
