(-)-Blebbistatin is a cell-permeable inhibitor for non muscle myosin II ATPase with IC50 of 2 µM. It does not inhibit myosin light chain kinase, inhibits contraction of the cleavage furrow without disrupting mitosis or contractile ring assembly.
