5-dR6G, succinimidyl ester
5-dR6G (5-Carboxy-4,7-dichlororhodamine 6G) is one of the four critical 4,7-dichloro-rhodamine dyes used as the BigDye terminators for DNA sequencing in combination with dR110, dTMR and dROX. ABI PRISM® BigDye™ Terminator Cycle Sequencing is the classic method for DNA sequencing. 5-dR6G, succinimidyl ester is the most convenient building block for preparing the dR6G color of BigDye Sanger sequencing fluorophore set.
